Power of Four Mountain Bike Race

This unique mountain bike race combines the four ski areas of Aspen/Snowmass (Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain) into one amazing mountain bike race. The diversity of the terrain and tackling our four distinct mountains has placed this race in a category all its own.

Where: Aspen Highlands

2014 Results: Thank you for participating in this year's Helly Hansen Battle in the Bowls.  Click here for results.

The Helly Hansen Battle in the Bowls is back! Join us on March 23rd as teams of two race to ski/ride the many bowls of Aspen Highlands as quickly and strategically as possible. Want to see what its all about? Check out the video below.

Essential Information

Divisions:

  • Competitive Ski:  You're ready to battle your own limits and also challenge yourself against other teams of two skiers in an effort to cover the course as quickly as possible... maybe even faster than everyone else.  If you are a team of 1 snowboarder and 1 skier you must register in the Ski category
  • Competitive Snowboard:  You're ready to battle your own limits and also challenge yourself against other teams of two snowboarders in an effort to cover the course as quickly as possible... maybe even faster than everyone else.
  • Adventure:  Teams are challenged to discover Aspen Highlands in a new light by completing a course made up of fun and challenging runs, unique spots and special experiences you can only find here. Adventure teams can have up to 5 members total.

The courses for each division will be different with the adventure division offering a course designed for more intermediate level skiers and snowboarders. Each participant will be loaned a GPS device to track their routes. The only thing you have to do with the GPS unit is strap it around your leg or stuff it in your backpack!

Registration:  Online registration is now closed. You may still register on-site during check-in between 8 and 9:15a on March 23rd at the Aspen Highlands Ticket Office. Note: All teams must have at least 2 team members. The Adventure division can have up to 5 total.

EVENT RELEASE WAIVER - All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian in order to compete in the event.

Contact Brendan Collins at bcollins2@aspensnowmass.com with any registration related questions.
