Aspen Snowmass

Aspen Mountain is now open. The mountain opened with the most vertical feet in the country with top-to-bottom skiing and riding across 120 acres of terrain. The Silver Queen Gondola and Ajax Express is open as will the Sundeck and Ajax Tavern for food and drink. A recent storm brought over 21 inches to Aspen Mountain which has allowed for favorable conditions to open the mountain early.

Snowmass joins the open category on Thanksgiving Day (27th) with over 500 acres of skiing and riding and six lifts. The ropes drop on all of the runs on the Big Burn from Whispering Jesse to Sneaky's all, served by the Big Burn Chair.  Sam's Knob Chair spins accessing all of the runs off the summit from Banzai Ridge to Wildcat.  All of the western mid-mountain and below opens including Velvet Falls, Hal's Hollow, Scooper, Dawdler and Fanny Hill.  Both the Meadows Chair and the run open for beginners with skiing access back to the Village on Adam's Avenue. Snowmass Terrain Parks has crafted a park on Water Plant Flats with a mix of 15 boxes, rails and urban jib features including a beginner jump.

Avoid the lines and pick up your season pass before the lifts start spinning. For a list of Ticket Office location, dates and hours see below:
