Take your skiing or riding to the next level by joining an adult group lesson. Learn more with a group of similarly-skilled skiers or riders as you polish your turns and master the bumps, steeps and deeps. Riders focus on all-mountain skills and gain confidence. Each morning your pro will develop a lesson plan based on participant expectations, skill level, and conditions. Topics covered may include developing skills for all-mountain skiing/riding, carving the groomers, bumps, powder, steeps, racing and pipe & park. You will build confidence and a chance to take your skiing/riding to the next level.
Snowmass and Buttermilk daily, ski & snowboard, advanced beginner through expert!(levels 4 and up) Aspen Mountain and Highlands daily, SKIERS only, intermediate through expert! (levels 5 and up)
Times: 10:00a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Plan to arrive at your lesson meeting area ready to go at 9:45 a.m.

Rentals: Allow at least an extra hour if you are renting equipment, or if your schedule allows, pick up your rentals the evening before your first day on the slopes. Four Mountain Sports rental shops are located at nine locations throughout the bases of our four mountains. Four Mountain Sports offers free overnight ski and snowboard transfer and storage between the four mountains.
Helmets: Helmets are highly recommended for skiing and snowboarding. Helmets are also required for all participants, regardless of age, when participating in Terrain Park & Pipe lessons. While helmets may reduce the severity of a head injury, the best way to avoid accidents is to know and abide by the skier/rider responsibility code.
Meeting Locations: Snowmass Skiers: Meet at the midway unloading station of the Village Express lift, next to the yurt. Snowmass Snowboarders: Meet at the Base Village Plaza, by the fire pit. Buttermilk Skiers & Snowboarders: Meet at the bottom of the Summit Express lift. Aspen Highlands SKIERS ONLY: Meet at the top of the Exhibition lift by the Merry-Go Round Restaurant. Aspen Mountain SKIERS ONLY: Meet at the top of the Gondola (20 min. ride up), next to the Sundeck restaurant.
Helpful Hints: - Beginner skiers & snowboarders should take Beginner’s Magic lessons at Buttermilk or Snowmass. - If at all possible, get your lift tickets and rentals the night before. - Your group lesson is good for any day you chose, there is no need to make a reservation. - Leave the cotton clothing at home. Dress in moisture wicking layers, even in the cold. - Bring sunscreen and lip protection - Don’t forget money for lunch - Make sure you are hydrated before the lesson so that you can handle the elevation and exercise - Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
