Aspen/Snowmass is celebrating seven years as a third party ISO 14001 certifed resort. We are the first of only two ski resorts in the country to achieve this recognition.

Extreme Sports Camp provides specialized instruction in skiing and snowboarding for children and adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Extreme Sports Camp’s pros are PSIA-certified adaptive instructors, proficient in skiing and boarding. Both pros and buddies have been extensively trained in autism and operate under the direction of the Extreme Sports Camp.
Extreme Sports Camp welcomes people with ASD of all ages, all skiing and athletic abilities, and at any point on “the spectrum” from those needing just a little assistance to those needing extensive support. We pride ourselves in ensuring progress in skiing/boarding proficiency to the fullest extent while having lots of fun!
People with autism spectrum disorder can accomplish a lot when specialized approaches are used that leverage strengths and are intrinsically motivating – like skiing and boarding! Extreme Sports Camp utilizes the latest techniques in autism and has developed many cutting-edge approaches of its own. Although the diagnosis of ASD has increased dramatically, the pace of services and support has not kept pace. This is especially true in the areas of athletics and recreation, where few opportunities exist to engage in sports at a high level. Extreme Sports Camp is filling this need by offering advanced, rigorous and age-appropriate physical activities which truly challenge our participants, providing a rewarding and successful experience.
