Winterskol, January 10-13, 2013, celebrates Aspen's unique mountain lifestyle. Events like "Soupskol" (a soup competition throughout the snowy streets of town), and others which are equally creative, such as a canine fashion show, give Aspen a great festival like feeling in the middle of winter. Originally started in 1951, Winterskol is a toast to winter.
