Put simply, the famed "Inferno" is a fun race to see who can complete a Highland Bowl lap the fastest.

Start: 10:00am (for all divisions)

Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting:  9:45am outside of the Patrol Room

Cost: $20

Registration:  Registration is at the Guest Service desk at the base of Aspen Highlands.  Cost includes race entry, a t shirt, a post race party and awards ceremony with a raffle, food and beer (must be 21+)

Weather Date:  February 24th

Race Divisions:  Competitive, Recreation, Kids (16 & under)

Course description:  All racers will start, Le Mans style, at the top of Loge Peak. Racers run down Broadway, up Mousetrap, where they click into their gear.  From the top of Mousetrap it is a ski out to the bottom of Temerity Ridge, them a hike up to Highland Peak.  The route down the Highland bowl will be determined closer to the race time as it is snow condition dependant.  The finish is at the bottom of DT.

Equipment:  Helmets are mandatory.  Rando suits are OK but costumes are better.  Plain clothes is fine.

Awards:  There are prizes for first, second and third in Mens comp, womens comp, mens rec and womens rec. also a kids division 16 & Uunder,  a total of 15 prizes.
