Goldsprint Series (Downhill Fridays)

This seven-race series of downhill mountain bike races in Snowmass is open to anyone to participate in clocking their best time from the top of Snowmass’ Elk Camp chair down to Base Village. The races will be held on June 22, July 6, 20 & 27, August 10, 17 & 24.

The course will follow the Vapor Trail and then alternate routes between a variety of trails on the lower half of Snowmass including Snowmass Way, Valhalla and Easy Rider. The route for each week will be announced on Wednesday prior to the race.

Racers can ride in men’s, women’s and junior’s (16 & under)  divisions. Registration will be at the Snowmass Ticket Office. The cost for one race is $25 or $150 for all seven races.

Registration ends at 4:30 pm. Last gondola leaves at 5 pm. Race starts at 5:30 pm.
