The 5th annual Fallen Friends is a memorial event that unites skiers and snowboarders from all disciplines to celebrate the mountain lifestyle that binds all of us in honor and remembrance of our fallen friends. All proceeds beneift the AVSC scholorship funds.

The event consists of bumps, rails, jumps and other features on the bottom section of Scarlett’s Run on Aspen Highlands above the Merry-Go-Round. 27 teams (102 people all in costume) competed in the jam session last year under the watchful eyes of a guest judge’s panel that determined prizes for a variety of different categories. The event was a huge success as a free flowing, fun, goofy atmosphere where participants and spectators get out and enjoy the mountain and to raise money in support of AVSC scholarships. Together we raised over $4,000 last year! Lets shoot to double that!

NEW this year! We are inviting all participants and spectators to partake in a group bowl hike at 2 pm. AVSC coaches will be leading the charge and we encourage first-timers to ask for help as we join together in taking in the majesty that is the Highlands Bowl and remembering our fallen friends.

Registration is open day of the event only and is $25 per person! The Merry Go Round will be doing food and beer specials during the event!
