Thank you for your interest in applying with the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass. The application process for the 2007-2008 season is ongoing. Due to the high experience level and low turnover of our staff, we have very few full-time openings, yet numerous peak part-time positions are available.

Please click here to fill out an online application.

If you are an experienced pro with at least a Level Two certification and three years teaching experience (two years for snowboard pros) within PSIA-AASI or have the foreign equivalent, including ISIA certification, we will review your application during the summer months. After assessing all the applications of experienced pros, we will conduct interviews for qualified candidates. We will notify you by email if you have been selected to interview. This process will be completed by mid-July 2007. Please note, as of July 1, we are no longer accepting applications from pros requiring an H-2B visa for the 2007-2008 season.

If you have NOT previously taught skiing/snowboarding or have the equivalent of PSIA-AASI Level One certification or a J-1 visa, we have the following entry-level positions available:

  • Full- and part-time positions in our daycare (ages 6 weeks to 3 years) program (Contact Astrid Janusz.)
  • Full- and part-time positions in our ages 3-6 skiing and snowboarding programs (Hiring for both of these positions will take place throughout the summer and fall. Please email Astrid Janusz to arrange for an interview.)
  • Part-time positions for both skiing and snowboarding with our school age children (7-12) or with our adult program (Contact Michelle Tsou.)

All job offers are conditional upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, review of the applicant's fitness for duty, professional and personal references, and meeting our grooming guidelines and standards.  Furthermore, both experienced and inexperienced newly hired pros will participate in an extensive training program conducted by the Aspen Academy (our training division) during the month of December.

Please feel free to stay in touch with us during this process, and if you have the opportunity to meet with us in person, please call to set up an appointment.
