Media registration and press headquarters will both be located in the lower level of the St. Regis Hotel, 315 E. Dean Street, at the base of Ajax (Aspen Mountain). The press headquarters phone number is 970.544.4506 and the FAX is 970.544.4509. These numbers will be operational from Wednesday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 26. Media registration will be located in the Director’s Room, working press will be in the Maroon Bells II room and lunch will be served in the Maroon Bells I room.
Media Center Hours
The media center will open at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, for registration. Hours during the event will be:

- Thursday, November 23
8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, November 24
7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 25
7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Equipment
The working media room will have telephones, photocopiers, fax machines and internet access available for use. Video monitors with live feeds from the races will be in the working press room. All phone lines will be restricted, requiring the user to reverse charges or to use a credit card when calling long distance. Ask at registration for more information.
On-course Credentials
Course Access tags and media bibs will be issued to a maximum of 60 photographers per race for on-course access. Course tags and bibs must be returned immediately following each race. All on-course media must take the course tour on Thursday, November 23 at 11:15 a.m. The tour meets at the top of the course. On-course credentials are issued at the discretion of the Chief of Press and the FIS. Photographers must be in place once hour prior to the start of the race and will not be permitted to move from that position. Photographers must be able to ski to their position and crampons are required. Because of contractual agreements, video and film crews will not be allowed to shoot on course without permission from ESPN and Media Partners.
Press Conferences
Press conferences with the top three finishers will take place in the Pyramid Room downstairs at the St. Regis Hotel immediately following the awards ceremonies held at the finish area at the conclusion of the races Friday and Saturday.
Interview Requests
As always, the media staff will facilitate scheduling specific interviews but requests ultimately are made directly to the coach of the individual teams and athletes.
Transportation
Press Headquarters is located within walking distance of the race finish area. Those with special transportation requests should ask at registration.
Parking
A limited number of parking passes will be available to the media. Press who must transport heavy equipment will be given priority. Please ask at the registration desk if you require a parking permit. The City of Aspen has a paid parking system. If you need to park in the downtown area please be sure to purchase a permit at one of the coin-operated pay stations on each block. Alternative parking is available in the Rio Grande parking garage with bus shuttle service available to Rubey Park.
Finish Area
The race course finish area can be reached most easily via Mill Street, which is directly up the street from the St. Regis Hotel. Media credentials are required for access inside the finish area.
Broadcast Coverage
ESPN will be broadcasting the Aspen World Cup races scheduled at the following times: Nov 26 at 3:00 p.m. EST and Nov 29 and 12:00 a.m. EST.
